God Save Our Rotting Dinosaurs

(~This poem is dedicated to all of the prehistoric life, both plant and animal alike, that gives us our energy today. For that we give thanks and tear you out of your eternal graves, grind you up, siphon you off, dig you out and rearrange the terrain so that wildlife will not live here again, by Golly~)
God save our rotting dinosaurs
and the ground on which they’d tread,
for some they are worth trillions,
for others, they bring only dread.
These long-dead creatures
have since turned into goo
whose once-frightening features
now burn in furnace flues.
Guard our yards, lakes and farms,
for soon us, your ghosts will follow.
Your ghouls pay to escape ,
rotting dinosaurs we are forced to swallow.
