Ed Kelemen At Words In Process: Tuesday, August 20th!



Allegory Gallery and The Words In Process Reading Series are pleased to announce Ed Kelemen as our August 20th Featured Reader.

 


Ed Kelemen is a writer’s writer. A resident of New Florence and a retired police officer, Kelemen has embraced many forms and styles. In addition to his weekly column for the Blairsville Dispatch, his subjects include history, mystery, and local legend and ghost stories. He has had articles published in numerous local, regional and national publications, including Air News, the Star, Fate magazine, The Loyalhanna Review, Western New York Family magazine, the Catholic Digest, and The Tribune Review.

Kelemen also finds time to work with writers. He’s President of the Ligonier Valley Writers association and has lectured on police procedure for aspiring writers. He’s also served in an advisory capacity at Barnes and Noble’s presentations aimed at assisting unpublished authors.

At Words In Process on Tuesday, August 20th, Kelemen will read from two newly published works: The Little Drummer Girl of Gettysburg and Rt. 30: PA’s Haunted Highway. Kelemen will also discuss his publishing and promotion process and his current project, The Making of a Psychic. Books will be available for purchase! Join us at Allegory Gallery at 7 pm. Open mic for writers follows the reading!
