10,000 youth leaders converging on Pittsburgh this weekend...

Power Shift is a grassroots-driven online community that seeks to empower and serve as a hub for the youth climate movement. Their website site offers activists a forum for discussion and a platform to share resources, swap stories, strengthen relationships, and showcase their diverse movement to the media and the world. The community they create helps to build political power, harness collective energy, amplify the clean energy message and advance the vision of a clean, just and sustainable future.

"For the first time, the conference, which has been held every other year since 2007, will be held outside of Washington, D.C. The conference's website calls Pittsburgh "a city at the crossroads of the fight for a clean and just energy future -- at the heart of building the green economy, yet directly in the crosshairs of the fracking industry."
