two inconsiderate guys bust up hiking trail

Two Stahlstown men are accused of driving over a hiking trail bridge in Jefferson Township.

Laurel Hill State Park rangers charged Jacob Wayne Bradshaw, 26, and John Matthew Cameron, 25, with criminal mischief, a third-degree felony, trespass by motor vehicle and reckless driving. Cameron is also charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license, driving an unregistered vehicle and failing to have required financial responsibility.

On the evening of Aug. 30, Bradshaw, in a 2000 Dodge Dakota, and Cameron, in an unregistered and uninsured 1993 Ford Bronco, entered Forbes State Forest from Felgar Road, according to a probable-cause affidavit. The pair drove onto Marshall Fields Trail before entering the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail.
