Overdue Book Amnesty, Nov. 3rd - Nov. 9th

The Westmoreland Library Network (of which Ligonier Valley Library is a member) is partnering with The Westmoreland County Food Bank... helping to feed our neighbors and fill our bookshelves.

How it works:
  • Return any overdue item along with a jar of unexpired peanut butter or jelly (or other non-perishable item) during Amnesty Week....
  • No fines will be charged and no questions will be asked!
  • Bring your overdue item and your food donation to the circulation desk of a participating library* for proper credit.
  • You don't have to have an overdue book to donate a jar of peanut butter or jelly - all food donations will be greatly appreciated!

*Westmoreland County participating libraries are: Adams Memorial, Delmont, Greensburg-Hempfield Area, Ligonier Valley, Manor, Monessen, Mount Pleasant, Murrysville Community, New Alexandria, New Florence, Norwin, Penn Area, Peoples of Lower Burrell, Peoples of New Kensington, Sewickley, Scottdale, Trafford, Vandergrift, and Youngwood.
