Pork "Dun" Chinese Radish (Homegrown) - Mountain Palace

Lacy tells me every Chinese will know what "dun" is so I guess no explanation is needed. For those few who may not know "dun," it is a particular cooking method that results in a dish that is in a bowl like a soup but not so liquidy. It is served with rice. Yuzhen has been harvesting the Chinese radishes she has grown from seed. The radishes are a large round variety, mostly the size of softballs. They are known to boost the immune system and thus are beneficial in resisting colds and flu as well as aiding digestion. Come to Mountain Palace this weekend and enjoy this seasonal special or any of our other tasty, healthy authentic northern Chinese dishes. Eleven miles north of Ligonier left off of Route 711 onto Creek Road directly across from Mirror Lake. Friday 6 to 9, Saturday 12 to 9 and Sunday 12 to 6.  724 717-8614
