The students and staff of Ligonier Valley Middle School, along with the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art, have permanently displayed an act of community reverence, creativity and heartfelt commemoration, with the installment of the sculpture “Cattails,” which now stands regally at 16 feet on the front lawn of the museum.
The sculpture was dedicated in honor of classmate Christopher Harr, who passed away in 2010 after a firearm was accidentally discharged. Christopher was 11 years old at the time.
