Finally a break in the weather! Stop by and view an art exhibit by contemporary artist, Wendy Allen, who specializes in depicting America’s sixteenth president, Abraham Lincoln. The Lincoln Highway, dedicated in 1913 to connect eager automobile travelers from coast to coast, bears the name of one of America’s most iconic presidents, Abraham Lincoln. Wendy Allen, a Pittsburgh native who has a studio and gallery in Gettysburg, captures Lincoln’s character through her artistic eye. This free exhibit of Allen's paintings can be viewed through March 20, Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm at the Lincoln Highway Experience museum, located at 3435 Route 30 East, Latrobe, PA, 15650.
