Mr. Flickinger goes to Greensburg to fight for what's right. Is it a lost cause?

A Westmoreland County judge said an attorney gave no reason in a zoning appeal why neighbors can fight controversial construction plans at the Ligonier Valley YMCA.
So he dismissed their suit against the YMCA and Ligonier Borough over the construction of a parking lot at the site, a plan that has sparked months of angry debates and legal actions.
The neighbors' attorney previously represented the borough's planning commission, Judge Anthony Marsili noted, so he should not be involved in the case “out of an abundance of caution” to avoid the appearance of impropriety. He ordered attorney Richard Flickinger to recuse himself.
But Flickinger wants to give the suit another try.
