  • THROUGH MAY 4: Sunday, May 4th is free museum day in Ligonier. Enjoy free admission and special programs at Antiochian Heritage Museum, Compass Inn, Fort Ligonier, Ligonier Valley Railroad Museum, the Lincoln Highway Experience and Southern Allegheny Museum of Art. Experience the history and art of our community for free..on Sunday, May 4th. 
  • THROUGH MAY 11: The Valley Players of Ligonier will present the Steve Martin comedy The Underpants at the Ligonier Theatre...show times are May 2nd,, 3rd, 9th and 10th at 7:30 PM and May 4th and 11th at 2:30 PM, For tickets, call 724-238-6514.
  • THROUGH MAY 17: Join the fight against cancer in American Cancer Society's Relay for Life..at Weller Field beginning at 3 PM on Friday, May 16th through 3 PM on Saturday, May 17th. 
  • THROUGH MAY 24: The Stewardship and Evangelism Committee of St. James Lutheran Church  will be holding its second annual “Blessing of the Spokes, Soles, and Souls” on Saturday, May 24th at 11:00 a.m. near the entrance to the new pedestrian/bike bridge over Mill Creek, adjacent to Weller Field. The community is invited to celebrate spring and kick off the outdoor recreation season .  Participants on the trail will be provided with energy bars and bottled water. There are  a limited number of bike helmets available for kids.  
  • THROUGH MAY 31: The Southern Allegheny Museum of Art will host their 13th annual Garden Party The Thrill for the Hunt for Art on May 31st. It offers an evening of fine cuisine, music, dancing and fox gunt related activities. Tickets are $125 per person. For more information call SAMA..at 724-238-6015.
  • THROUGH JUNE 1: Students can pre-register now for Ligonier Theatre's Summer Camp...Shakes Up, a tribute to William Shakespeare. Students will learn acting, dancing, voice projection, singing,set design and more. The camp will run Monday through Friday from 9 AM- 3 PM during the weeks of July 7th and 14th. Then students will perform amusical parody of Hamlet on Saturday, July 19th at 7:30 PM and Sunday, July 20th at 2:30 PM. For registration information, call the theatre at 724-238-6514 Extension 3.
