Ligonier Valley's so exciting!!

The gravel bed for the most recently completed segment of the Ligonier Valley Trail was barely laid in place, when it experienced its first activity.
“People are using the trail already. They started using the trail the day after we laid the first base layers,” said trail project manager Larry Shew. “I went out to the site to meet with contractors and saw several sets of foot prints and bike tracks in the new base.”
“We started this phase over a year ago right after the Rose Stepnik bridge was put in,” Shew said. “In fact some of the work has been going on for more than two years.”
