Planes, Trains, and Automobiles!

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles: A Daytrip Through Transportation History, brings together the KLBE Air Museum, the Lincoln Highway Experience, and the Ligonier Valley Rail Road Museum on Saturday October 25, 2014 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Preregistration is required for this guided tour, but attendees need to provide their own transportation to each site. The first museum on the tour is the KLBE Air Museum at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport, which commemorates the history of air travel in Westmoreland County. Continue your journey up the Lincoln Highway to visit the Lincoln Highway Experience, which resides in a 200-year-old National Register listed building. The daytrip ends at the Ligonier Valley Rail Road Museum, housed in a fully-restored original railroad station built around 1896. .
