wine-tasting at Thistledown during Fort Days

For the first time, this year's festival, from Oct. 10 to 12, will feature a wine-tasting area. Eight Pennsylvania wineries will display their wares on the lawn of Thistledown at Seger House B&B on West Main Street. The tasting will be free and open to those 21 and older.
“The wineries will serve a 1-ounce tasting,” says Tom Kenney, who arranged the event with his wife, Sue. “People can purchase bottles of wine, not to be consumed at the festival.” Open containers of alcohol are prohibited in festival areas.
