public comment period at Township meeting was tense

After numerous citizens spoke about the negative impacts drilling could have on the community, several people expressed frustration that they could not comment that evening, some yelling, “We demand to be heard.”
Solicitor Michael Korns tried to maintain order as the crowd grew louder, with police Chief Mike Matrunics eventually addressing the room.
The board left for an executive session, with some citizens yelling, “You work for us.”
