book art

It sounds like a librarian's worst nightmare: 250 people eating, drinking and carrying on in and around the stacks. But this time, the librarians weren't shushing the crowd, they were joining in the merry-making.
The event was the Novel Art III reception and silent auction on May 1 in the Ligonier Valley Library.
Following a weeklong art exhibit of the same name, the evening allowed patrons the chance to bid on art objects created from old books by amateur and professional artists and crafters.
