Ligonier Twp. supervisors should go to this...

"Local Government Academy, in partnership with Washington & Jefferson College’s Center for Energy Policy and Management, and sponsored by W&J’s Shale Gas Knowledge Hub, is presenting, “Land Use, Zoning, and Addressing Impacts of Shale Gas Drilling After the PA Supreme Court Act 13 Rulings – A day of discussion and analysis for municipal officials and employees,” as part of the Academy’s Managing Marcellus series, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 4, at the Yost Auditorium, Burnett Center on the campus of Washington & Jefferson College, Washington, PA. Pennsylvania municipalities experiencing shale gas development need to know how best to address gas industry impacts following the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and Commonwealth Court Act 13 decisions."

To register:

...the township supervisors were offered much information about the harmful effects of fracking to water and air, they were given stacks of test results from non-industry sources - those would have been biased and incomplete, hiding the toxins and spills - and still they chose to make fracking easier here in Ligonier. Someone please tell them to at the very least go to this Managing Marcellus that they are going to have to manage what shouldn't ever have been allowed here.

The meeting is run by Local Government Academy - not by fractivists - to head off any criticism: "Local Government Academy, an independent non-partisan organization, promotes excellence in local government."
