What does the industrialization of a rural landscape look like from the air?

There are photos that show exactly what it looks like over the last five years, and you can see them on Saturday.

June 6, 2015, 12:30pm
Butler Public Library,
218 N. McKean Street, Butler
Free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Over the past five years and 35 flights, Bob Donnan has used photography to document landscape changes in the tri-state area.  Recently, Bob returned on two flights to take more extensive aerial photos of Butler County and capture the industrialization of our rural landscape.  Bob has also researched the impacts of gas processing plants, which separate gas liquids so they can be transported to market. Bob will share his aerial photographs of shale gas operations in Butler County and what he has learned about gas processing and compressor stations. Lisa Graves-Marcucci from the Environmental Integrity Project will join Bob to talk about the air and permitting of these facilities.
