chips celebrate home

Bags of potato chips from Snyder of Berlin now have a local look to them, to honor the company's home in the Laurel Highlands.
Eleven Snyder snacks have new packaging with an image of a red barn, like those seen near its headquarters in Berlin, Somerset County. Each of the 11 snacks has a photo and information about a regional landmark or attraction, such as Fort Ligonier and Seven Springs Mountain Resort, on the back of the package.
The snacks are available for sale at supermarkets, convenience stores and specialty stores, or online at
You may even find the redesigned snacks for sale at the attractions' gift shops, like at Fort Ligonier in Ligonier. The site's image is on Snyder's Sweet 'N Sassy BBQ Potato Chips.
